Just confirming

There will be no show tonight - we are taking the week off to recover from the mind blowing finale. We would like suggestions on:

1. Things people would like us to cover over the hiatus - more lostographies and character discussions, reviews and watches of other series (Firefly) and movies (HBP), or whatever you kids can think of

2. Which night we should do the show on. We're sort of up in the air at the moment, and fan input would help us out.

Namaste,
Amanda (and Josh)

PS : Keep the inside joke-off going! We're halfway there!

I personally am a fan of doing the rewatch of Seasons 4 and 5 for the following reason as quoted by Josh...

The Season 5 finale made Season 4 and 5 not matter, but we don't care!

That in mind, Season 6 will blow us all away and we'll stop being pissed about how Seasons 4 and 5 were effectively made pointless by The Incident. So may as well do it when it's in our heads.

Also, we demand the Bizarro episode. That is necessary and LFB can never end without the Bizarro episode.

Finally, Thursdays have always worked fantastically for me. Tuesdays could work for me too.

I'm interested in the LOST rewatch now. I'm not leaving this 7-11 cooler until you say there is going to be a rewatch.

So, funny LFB story.

For those of you who somehow didn't know, I'm a podcast addict. So I'm listening to LFB on the bus this afternoon when this guy who's probably the perfect study for an absence of brain cells comes next to me and takes out my headphones. I'm not exactly sure what was being discussed at the time ,but Amanda was speaking. He yells out to his goons, "Hey! Tristan's gay! He doesn't listen to music, he listens to some curry chick talking!" (Curry is this stupid slang they use for Indian people...). So yeah, unnecessarily extended story about how nameless stupid person thought Amanda was Indian.

In true LFB fashion I hope you punched this guy IN THE FACE!!

lol, Josh. And I thought the people on my bus were dumb...

Whenever someone decides to listen to my iPod, I pause and claim I'm listening to nothing. No matter what.

My hands were full at the time. but yeah, Josh, I did have the sudden urge to. Thankfully/Unfortunately, I didn't.

How tall was this punk? Body size? Estimate at weight?

Tristan said...

:) Probably slightly taller than me, probably slighlty overweight. I would've taken him down to defend LFB any day :)

...MySpace friend request from aforementioned goon:

I have not edited this in any way, shape, or form. And I don't even use MySpace.

He left out LOST! And if he's using Myspace, that seals the fact that he's an idiot. Just sayin'...

Amanda wasn't doing the Sayid accent at the time.

And for the record, all my obscure inside jokes are coming from me listening to you guys in line with a rewatch. I'm not a freaky obsessive stalker.... :)

LOL Just so you know, if you guys did one episode for each episode each week after season 6, you could keep going for two years! Wow.

Anyone up for more strange @tristankent LOST stories?

So, was watching a DVR'ed version of Scrubs last night, had a mug of tea in my hand. Pretty good episode, then, all of a sudden, this new guy comes on screen. It's Richard Alpert. I drop the mug and get unnecessarily excited. And then yell in pain because I've got hot water all over me. The end.

But yeah, I liked his character (Dr. Hotbutt) a lot, he was really cool, but I couldn't stop thinking of Richard Alpert everytime I saw him....

And Richard fangirls, if you ever wondered what he looks like without a shirt, or just ordinary LOST fanpeople (Ordinary? LOST?), go watch Scrubs 3.17, My Moment of Un-truth. It's awesome.
