The Brig

Hey kids! We're recording Episode 36 right now, but here's episode 35, which was delayed because of Talkshoe issues. They've updated so that you can join the chat without actually downloading and registering - neat! Be sure to check out our next episode tonight or tomorrow, but for now....

Copied from wikipedia:

The nautical mile was originally defined as one minute of arc along a meridian (or in some instances any great circle) of the Earth.
Although this distance varies depending on the latitude of the meridian (or great circle) where it is used, on average it is about 6,076 feet (about 1852 meters or 1.15 statute miles).

I bet that's how Josh usually says it when someone asks how fast he is going: "60 statute miles per hour."

Hey Josh,

Did you say there was a YouTube video out there with Jack saying "Because I love you" to a bunch of random questions? That sounds hysterial, and I'd love to see it if it exists. Thanks!

Its not a YouTube video, its a Live Journal icon - Amanda is obsessed with Live Journal (yes, still).

Yes that's what Amanda said.

Speaking of YouTube, there's a video of Conan showing clips of Walker Texas Ranger, and one of them(the one with the dad from The Wonder Years) that might be the funniest thing I've ever seen.
